Annual Funding Sources
Funding for TERA's independent, 501(c)(3) work, comes from various
organizations that contribute to its mission. Reports from this
work are generally posted at the TERA website or are published in
peer reviewed journals or books. Additional work and sponsors can
be found in our annual reports. In addition to the work
listed below, TERA contributes between 10 and 21 percent more hours to
professional and donated time, including serving as officers in
scientific societies and conducting pro bono
work associated with state, tribal and provincial unmet needs under the
State Hazard Evaluation and Lending Program (State HELP), many of
which can be found at the Alliance for Risk Assessment (ARA) webpage
http://www.allianceforrisk.org/ARA_projects.htm.
